Jameson Black Barrel pays tribute to the cooper's method of charring barrels. It contains a high proportion of Irish pot still whiskey and small batch grain whiskey.
The key difference is the maturation in double-charred bourbon barrels. This "black" char intensifies the taste, delivering intensified notes of vanilla sweetness and caramel, alongside toasted wood and fruit.
