Shipping Availability
buhzd currently ships to the following U.S. states: California (CA), Arizona (AZ), Nevada (NV), Texas (TX), Colorado (CO), New Mexico (NM), Oregon (OR), Washington (WA), and Idaho (ID). We are actively expanding and will update this list as additional states become available.
Legal Requirements
Receipt of shipments containing alcoholic beverages requires the signature of a sober adult, which means a person twenty-one (21) years of age or older who is not intoxicated. A valid government-issued ID must be presented at the time of delivery. Carriers are unable to leave alcohol shipments unattended. All purchases are for personal consumption only and are not for resale, unless your business has an approved account with us and is authorized for resale.
Shipping Laws
You are responsible for abiding by all state and local laws, rules, and regulations of your state pertaining to the receipt of alcoholic beverages from out of state. You additionally represent you have obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, are working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, and are legally entitled to take possession of the alcoholic beverages. You further represent that you and/or the person accepting delivery of the alcoholic beverages are at least 21 years of age.
By making a purchase on our site, you are authorizing us to appoint a carrier and arrange for transportation on your behalf for the delivery of alcoholic beverages to you. You understand and acknowledge you are accountable and liable for compliance with all laws concerning such shipments to your state. You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless buhzd, its agents, officers, directors, and employees, from any and all claims, demands, damages, or liability whatsoever arising out of the shipment of alcoholic beverages to your state.
Purchase Costs & Procedure
The cost for all products available through buhzd includes the price listed plus applicable taxes and shipping costs for which you are responsible. Prices are subject to change without notice. Item photos may not perfectly reflect the actual bottle or vintage being shipped. We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or terminate accounts at our discretion. If you or an authorized adult are not present to sign for the package, resulting in a failed delivery, shipping charges are non-refundable and additional carrier return fees may apply.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination, package weight, and the materials used to safely pack the shipment. From time to time, buhzd may offer promotional shipping rates or free shipping, which will be applied at checkout when eligible. Cannot be combined with other discounts unless explicitly stated.
Carriers
We utilize various shipping carriers to deliver your order. By placing an order via the site, you authorize buhzd to engage a carrier to deliver your order. However, buhzd is not responsible for the actions of the carrier, including unforeseeable delays, loss, or damage in transit. It is the receiver’s responsibility to ensure compliance with applicable laws and to provide valid identification upon delivery.
Delivery Terms & Order Processing
Orders are processed within one (1) to three (3) business days (Monday–Friday), subject to product availability. Some items may experience slight delays as they are transferred to our shipping department for secure packaging. Once an order has been fulfilled, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number to follow the progress of your shipment.
Please ensure that your shipping address is complete and accurate (including apartment, unit, or suite numbers) when placing an order. buhzd is not responsible for delays resulting from incorrect details. If a carrier applies additional fees (often up to $10.00 or more) for address corrections, incomplete information, or shipment re-routing, the customer is responsible for those adjustments.
Title & Taxes
The regulatory environment for shipping alcohol to consumers is complex and ever-changing. The list of states we currently service represents where we believe we can legally and safely fulfill orders. Please submit your order, and our processing team will check it for compliance; if there are any issues, we will contact you.
Accordingly, you will be the legal owner of the goods when your order is approved by your financial institution. Title to all alcoholic beverages purchased on the site passes to you at the time the goods are picked up by the carrier. You will be charged applicable state and local sales taxes based on your shipping destination.
Hold Until Safe to Ship & Weather Damage
Alcoholic beverages are highly sensitive to extreme temperatures. We reserve the right to delay shipping at our discretion to prevent heat damage or freezing, especially during peak summer or winter months. We are not responsible for damaged product due to weather exposure via ground service once it leaves our warehouse. If weather conditions are unsafe, we will hold purchased items at our facility at no additional charge until conditions are suitable for shipping. Should you need your order by a specific date, please contact us prior to ordering.
