Don Pilar Extra Añejo is aged for 36 months in American White Oak barrels. Produced at a single estate in the Highlands, it honors the founder, Don Pilar Contreras.
Extended fermentation with baroque music playing (a quirk of the distillery) and slow distillation create a spirit that is incredibly rich, fruity, and smooth.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Roasted oak, fruit, and butterscotch.
- Palate: Dark chocolate, grilled pineapple, and vanilla.
